How to reset your calendar connection

Last Update hace un mes
As we continue improving Year Glance, there may be occasional issues with how your calendars connect or sync. Here are the options available to you, starting with the quickest fixes.
Step 1: Try a browser refresh first
- Log out of Year Glance.
- Perform a hard browser refresh (PC: Ctrl+Reload, Mac: Shift+Reload) or clear your cache.
- Log back into Year Glance.
Step 2: Clear calendar events
If events are not displaying or syncing correctly, you can clear the calendar data for that account from within Year Glance. This removes locally stored event data and triggers a fresh sync. It does not affect your actual calendar in Google or Microsoft.
To do this, hover over your account name in the Calendar panel and click the clear icon (triangle with exclamation mark). Confirm by clicking Remove.

Step 3: Refresh your calendar list
If calendars are missing from your list, use the refresh icon next to your account name to fetch the latest calendar list from Google or Microsoft without disconnecting.

Step 4: Clear Calendar Events
This will remove all events from Year Glance. This will not affect your calendar in your native calendar.
How to clear calendar events
- Go to the Calendar panel in Year Glance.
- Click the clear icon (triangle with exclamation mark) next to the calendar account name.
- A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Remove to continue.

Step 5: Disconnect and reconnect your account
If the above steps don't resolve the issue, disconnect your account by clicking the cross, then reconnect your calendar account. This performs a full reset of the connection.
Step 6: Contact us
If you're still having trouble after trying the above, send us a message and we'll help you work through it. Screenshots or a screen video are very helpful.
