If your calendar events are not syncing correctly in Year Glance or if you unintentionally reached your event limit, you can clear the stored event data for that account and trigger a fresh sync. This does not delete or affect any events in your actual Google or Microsoft calendar.

How to clear calendar events
  1. Go to the Calendar panel in Year Glance.
  2. Click the clear icon (triangle with exclamation mark) next to the calendar account name.
  3. A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Remove to continue.

Year Glance will remove all locally stored events for that account and re-sync from Google or Microsoft automatically.

Limit
This action can be used once every 15 minutes per account. If you try again within that window, the option will be temporarily unavailable.

Will this affect my calendar data?
No. This only clears what Year Glance has stored for that account. Your actual events in Google or Microsoft are never affected.

When should I use this?

  • Events are not appearing or are out of date in Year Glance
  • Events appear to be duplicating
  • Syncing seems stuck and a browser refresh hasn't helped
  • You want to reset event data without fully disconnecting your account
  • You unintentionally hit the events limit on your plan

If clearing events doesn't resolve the issue, the next step is to disconnect and reconnect the account. See: How to reset your calendar connection
