Understand the differences between Plan Everyone Premium and Plan Me Enough

It depends on how your team wants to use Year Glance. Here's a breakdown to help you choose the right setup.

✅ Scenario 1: One shared calendar view

Best for: A team sharing one consistent view – e.g. a wall calendar, team dashboard, or general team calendar.

  • Only one person needs a Year Glance account (on Plan Everyone Premium).

  • They control the settings, layout, and connected calendars.

  • A read-only link can be shared with the rest of the team, who can navigate the calendar view (month/week/day/year).

  • Calendar events can still be updated by others in the native calendar (e.g. Google or Microsoft), and updates will sync automatically.

Example:

Catherine, the office manager, sets up a Year Glance view that displays the “Staff Calendar” and shares it via a link on the office screen or in Slack. Jenny and Ryan update the calendar in Outlook; the team just views the changes in Year Glance with the shared link.

Pricing for this is US$15/month or US$150/year – only one subscription is needed for this setup.

👤 Scenario 2: Team members need personal views or separate calendars

Best for: Teams or individuals who need their own combination of calendars, or want to customise layout, colours, and overlays.

  • Each person will need their own Year Glance account.

  • If they want to share their view, they’ll need the Everyone Premium plan.

  • If they only want a personal view, the Plan Me Enough plan is fine.

Examples:

  • The Finance team needs a different calendar view than the Comms team.

  • A manager wants to overlay their personal calendar on top of the shared team calendar.

  • A team member wants to colour-code their view differently or change the layout to vertical instead of horizontal.

If team members don’t need to share their view, they can use the Plan Me Enough plan – US$8/month or US$80/year.

If they do need to share their custom view with others, they’ll need the Plan Everyone Premium plan instead.

You can mix and match depending on each person’s needs.

Examples:

  • 3 people on Everyone Premium = US$450/year

  • 5 people on Plan Me Enough = US$400/year

🔒 Scenario 3: Separate views for general staff and executives with confidential calendars

Best for: Organisations where executives or leadership need a private view that includes confidential calendars not visible to the broader team.

In this case, two separate Year Glance accounts are required – one for the general staff view, and one for the executive view.

  • Account 1 (general staff): Set up on Plan Everyone Premium, connected to shared team calendars only. The shareable link is distributed to all staff.

  • Account 2 (executive): Set up on either Plan Everyone Premium or Plan Me Enough, connected to both the shared team calendars and any confidential calendars (e.g. board meetings, HR matters, leadership planning). This view is kept private or shared only with relevant leadership.

This setup ensures sensitive calendar information is never exposed via the shared staff link, while still giving leadership a complete picture.

Example:
David, the CEO, sets up a second Year Glance account connected to both the "All Staff Calendar" and a confidential "Board & Executive" calendar. He keeps this view to himself and two other directors. Meanwhile, the general staff view (managed by the office coordinator) shows only the shared team calendar and is displayed on the office screen.

Pricing for this setup starts at US$150/year for the staff account (Everyone Premium) plus US$80/year for the exec account (Plan Me Enough) – US$230/year total for two accounts. If the exec view also needs to be shared with other leaders, both accounts would be on Everyone Premium at US$300/year total.
