Your privacy and security are our top priorities.
When you connect your Google or Microsoft calendar, Year Glance uses secure tokens (provided through official APIs) to access your events. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
To provide a faster and more reliable experience, your calendar events are now securely stored in our database.
This allows Year Glance to:
Keep your Year views loading instantly
Reduce sync issues and API limits from Google and Microsoft
Enable features like shared views, filters, and calendar insights
We only store the information required to power these features such as event titles, dates, and times. We never access your emails, contacts, or other unrelated data.
If you delete your Year Glance account, all your account and event data is deleted.
Your event data is automatically deleted when:
You disconnect your Google or Microsoft account
You delete your Year Glance account
You are on a free plan and have been inactive for 14 consecutive days
You or your calendar provider delete the event itself
If your account is deactivated by an admin, event data remains for 14 days before deletion unless reactivated within that period.
You can also revoke access directly through your provider’s security settings:
All data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption and stored using secure, industry-standard practices.
