What are event limits?
Each Year Glance plan includes a limit on the number of calendar events that can be stored in your account.
An event is counted when it is synced and saved in Year Glance. This includes individual events and each occurrence of recurring events within your selected date range.
Event limits help ensure your account runs smoothly and that the platform remains fast and reliable for everyone.
Why are there event limits?
Most users sync a small number of calendars with a few thousand events. Some accounts, particularly multi-site businesses or operational schedules, can contain tens of thousands of events.
Without limits, very large imports can impact performance and stability.

Why have I reached my event limit?
Your plan includes a limit on how many calendar events can be stored in YG.This includes recurring events. Each occurrence of a recurring event counts toward your limit.
For example:
- A weekly meeting for a year counts as roughly 52 events
- A daily recurring event counts once per day
- New events stop syncing
- Existing events remain visible
- You can upgrade or disconnect an account to continue
What counts toward my event limit?
Events count when they are stored in YG.
Events are added when you:
- Turn a calendar ON
- Expand your date range
- Sync additional time periods
Why does it look like I haven’t reached the limit?
Some events may not be visible on screen, but are still stored.
For example:
- Recurring events create multiple instances
- Events from other years
- Events hidden by display settings
- Events collapsed under a “More” link
How can I reduce my event count?
To reduce stored events, you can:
- Disconnect a Google or Microsoft account
(This removes all events from that account from Year Glance)
