Google Calendar: utilise event override colors
Evan
Last Update 10 days ago
Year Glance supports Google Calendar event override colors, allowing you to customise how events appear in the Year Glance view. You can change event colors either in Google Calendar or directly when adding/editing events in Year Glance.
How it works
By default, events display using the calendar’s default color.
If an event has an override colour in Google Calendar, that color will appear in Year Glance.
You can also set or change an event’s color while adding or editing it in Year Glance, which will sync to Google Calendar.
Option 1: Change the colour in Google Calendar
Open Google Calendar.
Click the event.
Click the palette icon next to the event title.
Choose a color.

Option 2: Change the colour in Year Glance
Add a new event or edit an existing event in Year Glance.
In the event editor, look for the Event Color or Color option.
Select your preferred color.
Save the event.
Notes
Changes made in Year Glance sync to Google Calendar and vice versa.
Removing a color override reverts the event to the default calendar colour.
